Garment Care
Heavyweight organic cotton gets better with every wear when you treat it right. A few simple rules keep the fabric, the prints and the embroidery looking new.
Washing
- Wash at 30 °C, inside out, with similar colours
- Use a mild detergent, no bleach and no fabric softener
Drying
- Do not tumble dry
- Dry flat or hanging, out of direct sunlight
- Pull the garment gently back into shape while it is still damp
Ironing
- Iron inside out on a low setting
- Never iron directly on a print or embroidery
Prints and embroidery
- Prints are flexible and wash resistant. Washing inside out protects them best
- Do not pick at the edges of a print
- Embroidery: no dry cleaning, no bleach
Shrinkage
A small amount of shrinkage after the first washes is normal for heavyweight cotton, especially at higher temperatures. Stick to 30 °C.
